The brand wanted to keep final assembly and distribution local while sourcing the pack and housing. Two sample units were built and discharged, and the measured capacity became the figure used in the brand's own documentation.
The pack, BMS and harness were then supplied as kits, with a wiring drawing and a test point list for the local assembly team.
